Iron River, Michigan took its name from the Iron River, a Blue Ribbon Trout Stream that flows through the city. Proud of its heritage, Iron River is also home to the Apple Blossom Hiking Trail and the annual Upper Peninsula Championship Rodeo at the Iron County Fairgrounds.
