Crystal Falls

Crystal Falls, Michigan is the county seat of Iron County and was named for a nearby icy waterfall on the Paint River. The city is very hilly and the castle-like county courthouse sits on the highest point overlooking the downtown business district. Pride in Crystals Fall’s rich heritage is evident at the Harbour House Museum and the restored Crystal Theater is home to a vibrant arts community. Population was 1,598 in the 2020 census.
