Niagara, Wisconsin is located in northern Marinette County and was founded in 1900 on the banks of the Menominee River. Calling itself the “City of Scenic Beauty,” Niagara comes from an Iroquois word meaning “thundering waters.” The community offers designated space to hike, bike and cross-country ski through the Riverside Trail system as well as trails along the banks of the river with commanding tall bluffs.
